Router problems

We had a 4 day cable outage due to a high wind storm, and I've been unable to get the server to online again. The router is a 4 port linksys. The server computer is telling me a cable is unplugged, but it is definitely not (also, the cable is working properly). The other 3 ports are working. Does anyone have any ideas?

wish I could offer more than moral support - but I have no idea. I remember having a devil of a time with port issues once.,,,could barely make any sense of it.

Well, I have run into this, always frustrating.
I go into the control panel, networking and remove and reconfigure the LAN card.
Starting the network stuff over sometimes fixes it.

I would love to see the VAST on line again, I lost the IP address so I hope it shows up on Bioware
